THE COVENANT

The Covenant an eight-hour supernatural thriller. Often creepy, and genuinely frightening, it combines elements of horror with mystery, culminating in a fresh exploration of one of the most popular legends of early twentieth-century southern Americana. 

Set in parallel years 1909 and 1977, in Barter’s Hill, Tennessee, the tale offers a new spin on the Faustian Bargain, with a nod to Robert Johnson’s infamous deal with The Devil at the Crossroads.  

In 1909, love is tested, and death averted as a mysterious young woman’s connections with the underworld bring salvation for a man about to lose everything. 

In 1977, with the arrival of new faces comes new discovery, awakening dark secrets from seventy years of slumber. For its residents, Barter’s Hill has become a place of bucolic quiet and contentedness, but it’s one where forgotten curses will stir again, as old ghosts cast long shadows.  

This is a world where the supernatural collides with the nature of legacy, loyalty, and betrayal. And when the final deal is struck, the stakes will never be higher.
